At Enterprise Holdings, Inc., through our independent regional subsidiaries (collectively “Enterprise Holdings”) and network of independent franchisees and fulfillment partners operating the Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental, Alamo Rent A Car, as well as other various programs, features and services (" Enterprise Holdings", "we", "our" or "us" as referred to in the policy below), we respect your privacy.  We have implemented our privacy policy ("Privacy Policy") and cookie policy ("Cookie Policy")  to explain our data collection, use, disclosure, and transfer practices, as well as individual access rights you may have when you use our sites and services, including global reservations and other rental services.

We host and maintain this website on behalf of a franchisee or fulfillment partner. For information about their privacy practices, please see below.

Enterprise Jamaica, operated by ATL Automotive Car Rentals, a sub-branch of the ATL Automotive Group, respects the privacy of its customers.

We are committed to taking all possible precautions to protect your personal information and to processing your information fairly and lawfully and only for the purposes for which the information was provided. This Privacy Notice explains how our organization collects, processes and safeguards your personal data collected or submitted through the use of this website, over the telephone, or in person.

WHAT DATA DO WE COLLECT?

PERSONAL INFORMATION

In addition to collecting information from your computer via cookies, which are explained in further detail below, we also collect your personal information when you:

● Make a vehicle rental reservation through this website;

● Request information regarding our rental services;

● Complete a contact form on the website;

● Submit your contact information over the telephone to one of our representatives to receive more information about our services;

● Rent a vehicle from us;

● Visit one of our rental locations and submit information relating to a vehicle rental;

● Participate in promotional offers, surveys or events.

Such information includes your name, email address, date of birth, gender, telephone number, mailing address, driver's licence information, passport or identification information, financial information such as credit card or banking details, occupation, place of work, town or city, country, postal code, emergency contact information, and your interests and preferences.

OTHER INFORMATION – COOKIES

We will collect information regarding the nature of the information you prefer to view, your comments, and services which may be of interest to you.

Information is automatically delivered to us from your computer and web browser when you log on to the website by the placement of a cookie on your computer which delivers information to us. This information is not personal but includes the pages you requested on your last visit, your computer's IP address, operating system and version, and internet settings.

You can adjust your computer's settings to prevent automatic delivery of information.

HOW WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

We will treat your personal data confidentially and will only process your personal data:

● Where we need to perform the contract we have entered into with you;

In particular, Enterprise Jamaica collects your personal information for purposes such as:

● Confirming your identity and driving eligibility;

● Emailing you with special offers on our products and services that we think you might like;

● Processing vehicle rental reservations and agreements;

● Processing payments, deposits, and refunds;

● Providing information necessary to our suppliers, insurers, roadside assistance providers and business partners in order to facilitate services requested by you;

● Processing claims relating to accidents, incidents, vehicle damage, or insurance matters;

● Improving and monitoring our services;

● Assisting us in developing services to suit our customers' interests and providing personalized services for our customers;

● Creating and providing statistical reports and analysis;

● Providing you with notification of changes to our products, services and/or the website.

If you agree, our company may share your information with ATL Automotive Group companies and affiliated companies so that they may send you information about products or services you may be interested in.

We will not disclose, sell, transfer or share your personal information (email address, telephone numbers, financial information and/or street address) with third parties unless it is necessary for any of the purposes described above, or if we are required by law to do so, or if we reasonably believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or comply with judicial or regulatory proceedings, a court order, or other legal process.

We will share your personal data with other entities or affiliates within our group, suppliers, contractors, insurers, roadside assistance providers and service partners in connection with providing services to you, as part of our regular reporting activities, business operations, system maintenance support and hosting of data.

We may also share your personal information with suppliers who are located overseas. If this occurs, all necessary steps are taken to ensure that your personal data is processed in accordance with this Privacy Notice and applicable law. Our suppliers and contractors are subject to strict contractual obligations regarding the processing of data.

MARKETING AND PROMOTIONAL EMAILS

We will respect your email privacy and therefore will not send unsolicited emails to your email address.

We may send you information by email in response to your enquiries, reservations, or your completion of a contact form on our website or in person.

We will send notices of promotions, special rental offers, loyalty programmes or events which may be of interest to you, if you ask us to. If you have agreed to receive marketing information, you may withdraw your consent at any time.

You have the right at any time to stop us from contacting you for marketing purposes or giving your data to other companies within our group.

SECURITY OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA

Enterprise Jamaica has implemented technology and security features in an effort to safeguard the privacy of your personal data from unauthorized access or improper use, destruction or disclosure, accidental loss, and to ensure business continuity and disaster recovery.

Enterprise Jamaica will continue to enhance its security procedures as new technology becomes available.

You acknowledge and agree that Enterprise Jamaica can use your personal data for the purposes described herein. If your personal data is disclosed to third-party contractors, the person or entity receiving your personal data will be required to agree to only use and disclose your personal data to carry out its specific business obligations to Enterprise Jamaica or for the permitted purpose of the disclosure.

Additionally, notwithstanding any other provision contained herein, to the extent permitted or required by law, regulation or other legal requirement, we will disclose your information to government authorities or third parties if:

● Required to do so by law or in response to a subpoena or court order;

● We believe in our sole discretion that disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect against fraud, to protect our property or other rights, or those of our customers or the public;

● We believe that you have abused the website or violated applicable laws or our website terms and conditions.

HOW LONG WILL WE RETAIN YOUR INFORMATION?

We will only retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, including legal, accounting, regulatory, insurance and reporting requirements.

To determine the appropriate retention period, we consider the amount, nature and sensitivity of the personal data, the risk of unauthorized use or disclosure, the purposes for processing, and applicable legal requirements.

Generally, we will keep information relevant to our dealings with you for up to seven years once you have ceased being a customer. Exceptional circumstances may apply where information may be retained for up to ten years.

In some circumstances, we may anonymize your personal data so that it can no longer be associated with you. Once we no longer require your personal data, we will securely destroy it in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
